The importance of crafts in children's learning.

Crafts nurture children. First, they help children to comunicate with their environment, also it helps to understand and to interpret the world surrounding them. These activities increase their observation ability and to develop their imagination. Daily crafting will open their minds, helping to improve their fellowship and tolerance.

Through these creative activities, children learn to express their feelings. Specially, when children are in a phase that it is hard to understand and to show what they feel.

How to prepare the activities for children

It is very important to plan which craft we want to make. It should be a cheerful activity so the children enjoy doing it. Consequently children will be motivated to take an extra effort.

Also it is really important to choose the proper place to do the activity. Children have to feel safe and comfortable in the chosen place.

Besides, if we work with several children at the same time, it is important to encourage teamwork and to avoid favouritism. We should adapt the activity to the children that we have in class.
